Ordered for delivery through Yelp and eat24.com , and after waiting 1 hr 45 minutes and having the eat24 chat request crash multiple times, and no response to my email, and one phone call with no message and an inability to reach them back (constant hold), I finally tweeted them with an instant response...15 minutes later they tell me the restaurant confirmed the order but never made it, and now it's closed. Maybe give the place a shot if you're there in person, but stay away for delivery/eat24. I don't understand how you don't know the food's not made after over an hour when it's less than 4 miles away from the delivery point.

My wife and I love to try new restaurants. We were leery of trying this restaurant due to some of the average reviews. After trying all of other Indian restaurants in town we decided to try this place. Boy, I wish that we had tried it earlier. I had the chicken curry and my wife the chicken korma. Both dishes were very tasty, in fact, the korma was among the best we've had. The flavor was smooth and it had shaved cashews and grapes. Outstanding ! The service was fast and courteous. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a great Indian dining experience.

I've been here twice and will definitely go again. It used to be called "Taste of India" and the menu hasn't changed with the new name. Regardless, it's good food and usually not crowded.

The food is way to greasy beginning with the naan which shouldn't have oil on top and the rice, not to mention the entrees practically everything. I ordered the Aloo Gobi which is one of my favourites. I really wanted to like this place but the Aloo Gobi was over flowing with oil, looked more like soup.

I went for dinner and it was great flavorful food, and especially great customer service with an indian authentic feel! One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to in a while!

I had a great meal here. Maybe there is a consistency issue given the sooo varied reviews. My food was delicious, fast, and not at all oily. I highly recommend this restaurant. Probably the most authentic ethnic treat in West Jordan.

It was our first time at this restaurant and we were very happy with the experience. The restaurant itself was spacious and had a cozy atmosphere. The staff were helpful, attentive and friendly . Everything we ordered was tasty but we especially liked the mixed tandoori platter , the chicken was very tender and the lamb was delicious. The naan basket with an assortment of different types of naan was also a good choice. The belly dancing was entertaining . I would definitely recommend trying out this restaurant.

We've been here 3 times now, the food is always awesome and the service always perfect. Never been there for the lunch buffet so I can't tell you how that is. But I can say dinner is killer. If you haven't tried this place yet and you love Indian food, do yourself a favor and get with the flavor.

Wow! We don't usually eat very adventurously, but this made us glad we branched out. I had the chicken korma with medium spice (which was the perfect amount) and my husband had the mango chicken with medium spice. I think next time we'll stick with plain naan instead of garlic and onion. Decor and ambiance were beautiful. Service was spot on. We'll be back for sure.

Used an online coupon deal for lunch at Flavors of India. In case you're wondering, the buffet is excluded from the deals. We weren't wanting the buffet, anyway. My partner had vegetable tikka masala, and I had lamb rogan josh, both medium spice. The spice level was spot-on. The tikka masala was a different flavor than what we are used to, but actually, we thought it was better. It wasn't loaded with cream, and we could really taste the delicious vegetables, and spices. My rogan josh had fresh herbs, julienned slices of fresh ginger, and fresh tomatoes, (instead of canned!) I felt like both our dishes were made from scratch with lots of fresh ingredients. Both dishes were also light on oil/fat/grease, which was refreshing. My lamb was super tender and mild. We shared an order of garlic naan, which came perforated to make 4 nice slices. Again, obviously homemade, from scratch, by hand. Our server was great, and constantly made sure our glasses were full. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. A nice ambience, with lots of maroon and gold. I'm really impressed with Flavors of India. I think they're less American-ized, and more authentic. Be prepared to experience flavors and textures that might be a little different than other Indian restaurants in the area, with better quality, fresher ingredients, more flavor, and less grease. I highly recommend Flavors of India.

Their Indian cuisine is delicious, always, compared to any other Indian restaurant in Utah, this restaurant is by far twice as good. Tikka, Tandoori they are all homemade and fresh. I love this place it is one of my favorite restaurants.

The food is extremely extremely good, and they are always nice there. My favorite is the vegetable masala and garlic naan.

The thing with Indian food is, everyone has their own perception about how a particular dish is supposed to taste like and what exactly is a genuine "Indian flavor". I have traveled across the world and have live for a substantial number of years in India. Indian food has always remained my favorite. So here is my low down on the food served at this restaurant, that i discovered while passing across west valley in Salt Lake City. Entrees--- Chicken Biryani & Lamb Biryani - I have eaten in pretty much every Indian restaurant in Salt Lake City, from Bombay house, himalaya kitchen, kathmandu, Tandoor, Star of India, Zaika, Zabiha grill, Copper bowl etc etc. The best place to eat chicken/lamb biryani, that reminds you of Delhi or Hyderabad in India is served in this restaurant. Just the right amount of tenderness in the meat, rightly cooked rice and delightfully flavored. Of course, I cannot expect it to taste exactly like any place in India, but it is pretty close in terms of flavors. Dal Makhani (lentils) It reminded me of Delhi, when I first tasted their Dal Makhani. Very well balanced with the right amount of butter. That is how a lentil dish is supposed to taste like. Mirchi Paneer Tikka This is served in different variations in India. They have given it a sizzler version, which I was delightfully surprised with. The cheese was very well marinated with spices and tasted very good. One of the dishes I would specifically go to this restaurant for. I have not seen this dish served in any other Indian restaurant. Butter Naan The naan is not amazing, but as good as any naan you will find in Sal lake city. Lamb Rogan Josh This was nothing special or any better than other restaurants. But it was definitely not worse. Chicken Tandoori/ Tikka I have not had a good tandoori chicken anywhere in the US except new york. The same applies here. It is as good as any other restaurant, but nothing exceptional to mention. Although I do always crave and look for a well made tandoori. Baygan Bharta I was not much impressed by the Baygan Bharta, it was again as good as any other restaurant here, but nothing different or closer to Indian tastes. Mango Lassi I hope they do away with the whip cream on the top. I don't think it adds anything, except calories on an already good lassi. Ambiance The place was pretty good and well lit. I liked the bar too. Order a kingfisher and you will get a frozen pint to put it in. Delightfully reminded me of Delhi and Chandigarh. Overall, the food was great and consistent as I have already visited the restaurant multiple times. This is worth the drive from Salt lake City. I will upload pictures soon. Give this place a try if you want to eat Indian food, that tastes Indian.

Excellent Indian Food. Called and placed an order for takeout tonight and they called us back to let us know they didn't feel they had enough quality lamb left to feel good selling it to us. How awesome! We may not have bought from them today but they will definitely see us back because we know they have a high standard for food and service.

My new favorite restaurant, this is the place I fell in love with Indian food. They also have a buffet for lunch for a great price. Whenever showing someone a new type of food this is great as you can taste a bit of everything.

This place is amazing.... I've come here several times with excellent service and delicious food. Never had more than a 10 minute wait. Tried a couple of different dishes over the year and have always been satisfied with the portions and freshness.

I'm pretty sure the tiki masala sauce is Campbell's cream of tomato soup with some weak seasoning packet. Clean and nice place with good service and poor food quality.

One of the finest indian restaurants in town. Excellent food and great atmosphere. I frequent this place at least once a week. The staff feels like family when you go there as much as I do. The Naan, the goat curry from the buffet and lamb curry are my favorite. I'm sure other things on the menu are good but I stick to those few mentioned above and i'm never disappointed. Also, get a mango lassi while you are at it.

I had the lunch Buffett. It was par for the course. The chicken tikka masala sauce was very good, but the chicken was over cooked. Like other reviewers are saying someone needs to teach these people how to service their customer! I had to wait 10 minutes before the Buffett was ready, go up and get my check, and at the end not even a thank you as I walked out the door. Geeze.

Lamb curry and mirchi mix grill were amazing! Naan was delicious as well. Everyone was very friendly and the service was great. Good date night spot. Definitely coming back!

I don't know what the other reviewers are smoking. Really. I was so excited because of the awesome reviews but left sorely disappointed. Blech. Maybe dinner is better but the lunch buffet was dry and crusty and never replenished. There also wasn't a super diverse amount of options and they couldn't tell me which dishes had nuts and which didn't. They thought *maybe* four of the main dishes did and weren't totally sure, so I ended up eating rice, pakora and salad for lunch. Yay. We got one soda. No refills on that, apparently. They came and refilled our water cups but the sodas sat empty. At almost $2 a pop that seems a bit ridiculous. I will say that their naan was really delicious, though. We didn't even know they had naan because there wasn't any on the buffet, and we were nearly done with our meal when it was brought fresh to our table. It was really, really good, or maybe I was just super hungry still? I don't think I can see myself ever coming here again. I would rather make the drive over to Kathmandu, it's well worth it.

I really wanted to like this place. I was so happy to hear about another indian place with a lunch buffet on the west side of the valley. But the buffet was far from good. All the entrees looked old and they didn't refill them either. Service was friendly but they never refill your drink. Also they don't take the yelp deal for lunch even though it doesn't say anything when you buy it.

I used to LOVE this place but haven't been in months because everything started tasting TOO sweet. Too much sugar in every single sauce. Not enough spice in the chicken tikka masala. Despite the overabundance of sugar in everything, still has the best Bagaan Barta in town, though it would be even better if they cut back on the sugar.

Love this place by far best naan in the valley. The lunch Buffett is a great price and delicious. The dinner is top notch always wonderful flavors attentive service and wonderful Bollywood music videos for background. The atmosphere is rich and comforting as is the food. Warning don't order hot unless you really really like hot.

I asked for my food extra hot. They asked if I have had Indian before and said it would be very hot. I said that's great, I understand. I was there with one other person who ordered hers hot. We waited 50 minutes for our two dishes. Mine had a little heat to it, and hers was not hot at all. The waiter never checked with us after taking our order, so we requested hot sauce from the person who came to fill our water. The food had good flavor but certainly no better than other Indian restaurants in the valley.

Flavors of India is our favorite Indian restaurant! We feel like family when we are here. The food is fabulous, the service is amazing. I've tried most of the offerings on the menu, and it's all good! I bring friends and business contacts here also. Always a great experience.

Every time I visited Utah and would crave Indian food Taste Of India was my go to spot so I was a little worried about whether the food would be different or not. Well it was different...it was better. I didn't care for the Chicken Tikka Masala before but they definitely made improvements on it so my stomach was quite happy afterwards and the onion naan was delicious. My friend tried the butter chicken which was pretty good too. As much as I like it though I'm partial to the Indian food in CA so I will give it a 4.

Found my new favorite Indian restaurant. From the time we walked in they were very friendly and attentive. Was not busy and we got sat right away. They have an extensive menu to choose from. Ordered garlic naan as appetizer and it was hands down THE BEST NAAN EVER. My wife then ordered the vegetable curry (medium spice) and I ordered Chicken Vindaloo (spicy). WOW. So delicious. So flavorful. The chicken tasted very lean and soft. We didn't think the portions were that big, but it was so filling that we took most of it home. Fine with me. Now we get to enjoy it for lunch tomorrow too.

This was my first time here, the food and service were wonderful! I ate way too much, but it was so good I just couldn't stop. I tried Mango lassi for the first time and I would definitely get that again. All the staff was very friendly and attentive.
